This policy explains how Apex Venture Group LLC ("Apex", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information. Apex is the data controller for the information described here. 1. Information we collect

• Business contact information — name, job title, company, email address, telephone number and postal address, provided when you make an enquiry or place an order.
• Transaction information — purchase orders, quotes, invoices, delivery addresses and correspondence relating to your orders.
• Payment information — processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. Card payments are handled by Stripe, Inc.; bank transfers are handled by our bank.
• Website information — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider for security and performance.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and this site is not directed at children.

2. AI sizing technology

Photographs submitted by end customers for fit recommendation are processed using Parfait's AI sizing technology, provided by Hairtelligence Company. Whoever operates the customer-facing channel — Apex, or a business partner running its own sizing programme — is responsible for publishing a privacy notice covering that processing and for obtaining any consent required in the relevant jurisdiction, including under state biometric privacy laws where they apply. Apex does not use end-customer photographs for any purpose beyond producing the fit recommendation and fulfilling the related order.

3. How we use information

• To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes
• To perform contracts, fulfil orders and arrange delivery
• To invoice, take payment and manage accounts
• To provide customer service and handle claims
• To meet legal, tax, customs and accounting obligations
• To detect and prevent fraud and to secure our systems

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run the business, with:

• payment processors, including Stripe, Inc., and our bank;
• suppliers and manufacturers, to the extent needed to produce your order;
• freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers, to deliver and clear your goods;
• Hairtelligence Company, where an engagement involves licensed Parfait technology or branding;
• professional advisers, and regulators or law enforcement where legally required.

5. International transfers

Our suppliers and logistics partners operate internationally, so your business contact and shipping information may be transferred outside the United States to fulfil an order. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

6. Retention

We keep transaction and accounting records for at least seven years to meet tax, customs and legal obligations. Enquiry correspondence that does not become an order is deleted within two years. Where we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit and vetted service providers to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures and will notify affected parties and regulators of any qualifying breach as required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to request deletion, to obtain a copy in portable form, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended.

To exercise any right, email support@myparfait.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, normally within 45 days. You may use an authorised agent.

9. Cookies

This site uses only cookies strictly necessary for it to function and for basic security. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site. If that changes we will update this policy and provide a consent mechanism.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be notified to active customers by email.
